Derian families are welcome to book in and visit on any day to use our facilities, join activities, and to spend some time together – we’d love to see you.
Book in for a swim in the pool, a cinema visit, or to have fun in our Sunshine Park – just get in touch.

Have a bite to eat with us
If you’re visiting the hospice feel free to join us in Danni’s Diner – you can order food off the menu for just £2 per meal.
Check out the menu when you arrive in reception and let us know when you would like to eat with us.
Hot meal order times:
Lunch: please order by 10:30am
Dinner: please order by 3pm
Sunshine Park and our gardens
We love to see our families enjoying our vibrant outside spaces, so book in to take a stroll around our gardens, or to play in our Sunshine Park – where children and young people of all abilities can have fun together.
Bring a friend
Children and young people are welcome to bring along a friend to bookable activities, including:
Cinema
Music room
Sensory room
Sunshine Park
Hydrotherapy pool
Care handover
We know how important it can be for parents and carers to have a little extra support and flexibility.
Families can access other Derian House services while their child spends time with a trusted adult who understands their needs, as long as everyone stays on-site.
A quick waiver form will need to be completed before the session.
